Mustard Seed will continue to support early Help for young people and their families to improve emotional help and wellbeing. We will be providing BOUNCE-BACK-ABILITYwellbeing workshops in schools for year 6 and above to build resilience and improve self-esteem and relationships.
We will also hold online workshops and webinars, CPD events and support groups for parents running alongside these workshops.
Workshops for young people will help to:
understand good emotional health and wellbeing and what to do if worried about self, peer or another young person
develop a toolkit of appropriate coping skills and resources
align the relevant EHWB workshop tasks to the education curriculum
bring Empowerment through building self-esteem & confidence
promote Positive affirmations & self-care
understand the characteristics of healthy relationships.
Workshops for Teachers and support professionals will help to:
Develop skills for delivery of the EHWB workshop
Managing the delivery process and curriculum
Share EHWB resources for pastoral care / behaviour support teams
provide Q & A on common challenges for young people with online back office access to workshop resources
Understand the links with the education curriculum and alignment with OFSTED ratings
Workshop for parents will help to:
What good emotional health and wellbeing looks like
develop skills for positive emotional health and wellbeing
Create a toolkit of resources for parents / carers to use
provide advice through Q&A support for common EHWB issues, when to get further help for the challenges experienced and signposting.
